Bio's of Directors
Kim Buttenshaw B.Bus., CA, AICD, JP
Kim has over 21 years working in both Chartered Accounting and Commercial Accounting commencing with Arthur Anderson in their Business Services division.
Kim commenced her career in Commercial Accounting working in the Media and Advertising industries for companies such as 2Day FM, Harry M Miller, Mojo Partners (Publicis Mojo), True North Media and DMG Regional Radio in the CFO role.
Kim then accepted a position as a Partner and then Director for PDY. The firm grew from a turnover of $1.8m to almost $7m in 2008 and was consistently in the top 10 growth firms in the BRW Chartered Accounting survey.
Whilst at PDY Kim was responsible for managing the Business Services team and developing the Corporate Advisory speciality for the practice which incorporated Outsourced Finance and Management accounting as well as M&A advisory, business valuations, due diligence reports and strategy/business reviews.
Kim is currently studying her Masters of Corporate Finance and is a member of FINSIA. Kim sits on several client boards and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Kim is also a Justice of the Peace.
David Woodhouse B.Com., CA, M.Tax., M.Int.Tax, FTIA
David has over 14 years working in the Business Services and specialist Tax Consulting fields commencing with Young Barnsdall & Co in 1996 and culminating in his most recent position where he led the Tax Consulting division at PDY. He has developed expertise in providing taxation advice to individuals and entities ranging from SMEs to listed corporations on domestic and international tax issues covering a wide range of topics. His main specialties are corporate structuring and trusts.
During this time, David has completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of New South Wales, gained professional accreditation as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and as a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
In developing his Tax Consulting specialty, David completed both a Master of Taxation and a Master of International Taxation at the University of New South Wales.
